| Statement |
604800
seconds contains 7 photographs and 1 light box. |
|
In
2000, I shared a flat with a person that I had an |
|
intimate
relationship. |
| |
We
shared many objects and common area in the flat. |
| |
All
images were made while she was away during 604800 |
| |
seconds,
when I was on my own looking at the objects. |
| |
 |
|
|
|
|
The
longer I looked, the closer I moved towards the |
|
objects. |
| |
I
placed my camera in the same distance at where I looked |
| |
at
the objects. The physical distances were as close as 10 |
| |
centimeters,
however the result of images reflects the |
| |
mental
distance between us. |
